Spreading Christmas Cheer

A long time ago {in a land not so far away} I pinned a photo of a project that used something called "Engineering Prints" from Staples. The pin claimed that you could get these huge, poster-sized black and white prints for just a few bucks.

Then I started seeing a bunch of cool projects using these same type of prints.

I've been wanting to try one, but I've never had just the right project. Until today.

I was looking at my family room wall the other night, and thought... Hey!  Adding a big, vintage-y Christmas poster to this wall would be awesome.

So yesterday I whipped up this print. {In two styles because I wasn't sure which one I would like on my wall.}

Then I uploaded it to Staples.com and an hour later I got a message telling me it was ready to be picked up!

{This was version 1.0.  I decided the spacing was funny and created the new version last night.}
If you'd like one for your house, below are the links to the PNG files that you can upload to your local Staples. Prices may vary, but our local Staples charged me $3.29 per print.

TO ORDER YOUR OWN PRINT:

Click on the link above and download the file you want to your computer.

Go to this page on Staples' website.

Select the 24 x 36 size. {You will have to trim the edges... my final size after trimming is about 22 x 32.}

Click "Design Now".

At this point it may want you to login.  If you don't already have a Staples account you will have to sign up for one.  Now you may be redirected back to a menu screen.  If so, select "Oversized Prints" and then "Engineering Prints" and then you should get to the design box.

A box will open up that will allow you to upload the file.

Follow the instructions on this screen, making sure to select b & w and media print options.  You also may need to select the size again.

When you are done, add to cart and checkout!

My site said that it would be ready in two days or I could pay a $5 rush fee.  I didn't pay the fee, and I got a call an hour later that it was ready.

If you print it, be sure to post pics on IG and tag me... I'd love to see!  {@itsjustemmy}
